iPod/iPad/iPhone Apps

I’m excited to begin to stretch beyond my iPhone – to see which of the apps I currently enjoy will work on the iPad when it arrives!  The Classroom for the Future listserve has been all a buzz lately about the iPad and what apps are transferable from the iPod touch, which many classrooms currently utilize for educational purposes, to the iPad.  Here are some links that have been shared to lists of apps folks currently recommend:

the iEducation wiki (created at ISTE 2009)

Learning Continuity website

50 iPhone apps to get kids reading

Dom Salvucci’s iPod Apps wiki page

Dom’s early childhood iPod apps page

Mobile solutions for students with special needs

I’m sure we’ll all find lots more in the way of resource pages.  Hopefully as we each find apps that are useful for arts education, we’ll post descriptions and recommendations of them here!
