IPad at ISTE

I attended my first session at ISTE this morning. It was called “Rethinking Arts Education for the YouTube Generation.”. It was a fantastic session, and I captured it using an app called SoundPaper. With SoundPaper, you can record audio and take notes. When you look at your notes later, you can tap any word and the audio that was recorded at that moment plays. I had dragged my laptop along for blogging, but I took it back to my room after the session and returned to the convention center with only my iPad. My plan is to send the PDF of the text to myself via the SoundPaper app and post that text to the Arts in PA blog. It’s definitely an extra step, but worth the experience of carrying only a small travel purse and my iPad all day!
