iPad Outdoors

Just read an interesting article about a class action lawsuit against Apple for mis-advertisement of the device as being just as good as the Kindle or a book.  The claim is that the iPad can’t be used outside in direct sunlight without overheating and shutting off.  Its interesting to see this lawsuit on the heels of the iPhone 4 debacle.  I had noticed this same issue with my iPad while sitting on my back porch, and when taking the iPad to the pool with friends.  In order to use the iPad outdoors you’ll have to keep it out of direct sunlight, unless you don’t mind loosing  your data or having to wait for a cool down to resume work.  Something to consider and know about as we all look for new and innovative ways to enhance our iPadding experiences.
